It really is the BEST OF TIMES to be a Cajun fan. I was in high school the last time the Cajuns went to a bowl game. In fact, being from out of town, I didn't know anything about the Cajuns. My high school accounting teacher, a big basketball fan, not a UsL graduate, but a big basketball fan, would talk about Roy Ebron and bring in paper clippings about the Cajuns. So he got me to give UsL and Lafayette a look. That is all it took.
A lot of you weren't even born the last time we went to a bowl game.
If you have the time and the means, you should make this one. We should not take anything for granted.
Wow...Sounds like the book "A Tale of Two Cities" was written about Lafayette and Monroe this season. "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way..."
