Today I was in my truck in line to enter a parking lot on campus. I saw Blaine walking on the right side of my truck. I rolled down my window as he walked by and gave him a smile and a nod. I've never talked to the guy in my whole life. He came over and reached in and shook my hand and asked me how I was doing. I told him I was great and that I was really enjoying the season. He thanked me and told me to have a good one.

I think I just developed a man crush!

If only they had an award for a player that does both... His kicking stats wont be able to compliment his punting stats and vice versa... Lou Groza for kickers; Ray Guy for punters.

I seem to remember a certain Bandwagon fan who said Gautier was the next big thing after watching a spring pratice. Like most of you, I thought he was exaggerating a bit. I am now starting to think he may have been right. Gautier has played lights out this year and imho, the main reason we are going to a bowl. Another standout performance this week and we could be looking at the SBC Player of the Year.

Baer isn't on the Ray Guy Award list.

Gautier is a great young man. Very happy he's found success on the field. Always smiling, always very friendly. He was ninth nationally a few weeks ago in pass efficiency rating, then 11th before moving back up to ninth this week. He has the fewest interceptions (two) by FBS QBs with at least 200 pass attempts this season.
