Coach Hud asked for four quarters... I think thats easy as a fan.
I stayed while the rest of my crew left. Then today, I showed them the last 5 minutes they missed. They were very impressed. They are into LSUAM right now since they have a student enrolled there. I am working on as many UL Alumni as I can to make them believers, so they will get the word out and the support will roll into the University.
Wish I could have been there. I was close. Domestic obligations in BR. Watched on CST and had some non-fans glued to the TV at the end. Exciting stuff.
How do I rank?
I was only at The Swamp for the last 3 and a 1/2 minutes, and only saw what I did through the north endzone fence.
Trying to get to Cajun Field after work (at that time) felt like a Salmon swimming up stream
My major gripe is the home side. You end the first half with an amazing 24 points and return to the field with silence and butts glued to the seats. Only getting up to cheer when it was third down. They don't realize how much of a factor crowd noise is to opponents offense. They'd be yelling for ULM's 3rd and 9 as opposed to a 3rd and 2. Our offense could have possibly scored in the third and earlier in the 4th.
Pity the fool that had a ticket to that game & didn't stay until the very end. They are the real losers in this senario & most likely losers in life as well. They are just to smart to believe long enough to watch their ship sail in. Anyone who has watched this team this year & didn't realize there was still a very legitimate chance, just doesn't understand about life as a winner or what it's like to be assiciated with winners. I am glad I came this year & I am glad I stayed. God bless the the Ragin Cajuns & Coach Mark Hudpseth.
