LOUISIANA La. - Each week Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns football coaching staff honors its outstanding performers from the previous week’s game by designating the Hooters/Credeur’s Players of the Week.


This week’s Hooters/Credeur’s Offensive Player of the Game was freshman running back Tyrell Fenroy. Fenroy had is second 100-yard rushing performance of the season, running for 156 yards on 27 carries and three touchdowns.

The Defensive Players of the Game were Tony Hills and Brent Burkhalter. Hills had two tackles, including a sack that thwarted a Troy drive in the second quarter. Burkhalter led the team in tackles, with 11.

The Special Forces Players of the Game Award went to redshirt freshman Justin Lee.

The offensive and defensive scout team players of the week were Deon Wallace and Brad Bustle, respectively.

The Hammer Award for biggest hit on defense went to defensive Rodney Hardeway.
