I do not understand what you are asking. I think Fenroy should be the feature running back and should stay in until the opposition proves they can stop him. Unless he asked for a breather, I would never take a runner out who is running all over the defense. It bugs the |||| out of me when they play him sparingly in the 2nd and 3rd quarter after he has dominated the 1st.

Im stateing I dont like how we rotate running backs so much, yes I know you want to get the others on the feild with Levier and Harrison, but like yesterday Fenroy leads us down feild on 1st drive, we also score on his 2nd positon that he is in and go up 14-0. Next thing you know we rotate, and bring in other guys, he was running down the throat of Troy and we take him out???, I just dont like how we rotate, we kill the momentum to much in my opinion, thats what I mean by that question

This is why I make comments like I do about our coaching staff. I don't dislike Bustle or any of his assistants, but everyone seated around me at the game asked the same question you pose. Why take a guy out when he is flat killing their defense. The same question was asked about our secondary, yank someone out and let them observe if they're getting beat one on one time after time.

    I TOTALLY AGREE!!!!!!!!!

Even at the QB position this week. Des takes us down the field twice in a row for TD's, insert Babb(mo is dead), Des comes back in first drive of second half TD. Babb seems to be tenative about his shoulder right about now I think right now should be more about getting Babb 100% first, and let Des continue to grow. Two healthy QB's going into the ULM game is better than ONE.

Fenroy is a real find! His performance against Troy was amazing. His physical strength is something to behold....just ask those secondary Troy guys who bounced off him. I say play him until he asks for a breather, or we get far enough ahead to let the other guys play. When you have a "good horse" you ride him!

As impressive as he was, I still have to question the offensive play calling. Who calls the plays for us? Is it the O-coordinator or Bustle?

Why in the hell would we go for it on a 4th down earlier in the game in Troy territory, but with 1 minute in the first half and in Troy territory, we punt. Also, if you are going to go for it on 4th and it is 3rd and 9, why not throw a screen or drop it off to your tight end for 5 or so instead of going for the home run, that way you make 4th much more manageable.

Also, I hate the spread offense that we run. A lot of times it looks like bad high school football. Let's get the tight ends more involved in the game. How about using a FULLBACK every once in a while for extra blocking, or to come out of the back field and catch a pass.

I REALLY MISS COACH COOK. When he was here our offense was the most balanced that I have ever seen us, and WE WON.

Why did Coach Cook leave anyway. COULD IT HAVE HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH OUR ILLUSTRIOUS PRESIDENT?

Anyway, sorry to vent. It was a great win, one that we really needed. Hopefully, we can continue our maturation process and finish off the season in style.

First things first. You have every right to vent. Not everyone will agree with you, but you have that right.
Second- Fentroy, as most players, runs the basic play sent in. He may improvise once he clears the line of scrimmage, but he runs the basic play. I am impressed with his talent.
Third- Bustle may occassionally call a play, but for the most part the O coordinator sends in the play.
Fourth- I agree with you that a screen pass now and then is the ticket. They did it up at MT and it led to a win.
Fifth- I don't mind the spread offense. I think it serves our present talent.
Sixth- Why did Louie Cook leave? I don't know. I have heard a lot of speculations, and none of them involved Dr A. I heard that he did not like the travelling to recruit and some other things that sounded a little off the wall.
Have a nice day, and I mean that in a nice way!

I agree that we should stick with something that is working until they stop it. Jerry should have been put in after Des, Tyrell and the offense failed to score. The real problem is our punt game. The lousy punting is letting teams get great field position and putting our defense in a marginal position.

Guys, can you believe that Tyrell just has to average 120 yards per game to become the first RB in Cajun history to rush for 1000 yds in a season. And he is a Frosh, wait until this kid is a senior.
