Do you really think we will go for some skill position players and DBs? We seem pretty stacked at those positions and very young! I heard we only have 12 to hand out.....9 of the 12 needs to be some of the biggest, strongest, ugliest guys they can find!

And with so few scholarships to offer, we can't afford to miss on many. I agree we need to focus on the bigger body positions this time around. Obviously you don't pass on a gifted skill position player if he comes around; but the focus should defintiely be on OL, DL and LB. Just my 2 cents.

I'll be pretty surprised if we sign any offensive players other than linemen.

On pelicanpreps.com a couple of months ago they stated that UL had offered a wide receiver from Lafayette High who would likely commit. I haven't heard much more since then. I guess the coaches are keeping quiet about committments until the season is complete.

That would be Richie Falgout. Forgot about him. You are correct.

I don't know if they're looking at Travis Broussard from north vermillion. He's a very good back along with Jordan Landry from Crowley high. These 2 guys are punishing runners. I know Brent Indest is a real good coach and he has the Gents looking real fine. I think the Cajuns should jump on these 2 guys or they will end up heading out of state for college. . But to wrap this up the Cajuns really should jump on Broussard and Landry class of 2007 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
