I know he's pretty explosive, has around a 40" vertical with a legit 4.5 which is very good for a linebackerOriginally Posted by KACAJUN

I agree with Norman and Risher.....but you have to find a way to get Fair and Green on the field, these are the two best athletes at the positon underneath Norman.
When used properly, their speed can be a huge asset to the defense. I think all 5 should play often and early and interspersed wisely throughout key moments of the game.
But I think out of those three you named one of those spots should utlize 2 of the top 3 fastest and most athletic linebackers.
One linebacker was playing totally out of position.
A second was making his first collegiate start.
The third has played around 200 snaps over the last three games, twice what he should be playing.
And that threesome had to play virtually every down in a make-or-break game for Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun football team.
This is a group that helped pitch a shutout for three and one-half quarters, and was in the middle of UL's best defensive game in several seasons?
"We took it as a challenge," said freshman Brenton Burkhalter. "We had people out, and we knew we had to rise to the occasion."
With Burkhalter making a first-ever start at the Mike linebacker slot, sophomore Mark Risher at an unfamiliar Sam post and senior Tyler Norman again a workhorse at the Will, the Cajuns stifled Middle Tennessee over the final three quarters in a 13-10 road win last Saturday.
That upset victory kept a flicker of hope in UL's Sun Belt Conference chances, hope that could become more solid with a similar performance in Saturday's 4 p.m. Homecoming contest against Troy.

Where's this guy been? Risher played the sam lb ALL last year:hr same defense, same position, made the move to mike in the spring.
Good points. I must express some concern about the dimenishing value of your nickname. After you post your 2 cents 25 times, you'll be broke.Originally Posted by 50Cent
