Hey I just wanted to find out what everyone thought about this...I really liked the set up with Burkhalter, Risher, and Norman. They are the biggest guys we got back there and they all attack the football. What do you guys think about it???

How is Babb looking? Is he expected to start against Troy?
Whether he does or doesn't, I think we need to throw the ball more and mix in the tight ends into the passing game more.
No start, wiil play, early and often.Originally Posted by cajunproud
Does that mean we're going to start putting either Des or Babb in the slot, or they will just share snaps under center? Both of those studs on the field at the same time will make our offense one of the most dynamic in the country. Onward and upward; does anyone else feel some momentum building? This team has confidence and arguable the most important piece of the puzzle is back...damn this weekend is going to be great!!!Originally Posted by Turbine

I don't think you'll ever see Babb in the slot, unless it's a trick or special play. It's just not going to happen. Same thing for Desmo. They are QBs. At slot, Babb's an average player at best, D would be a more likely suspect.Originally Posted by KACAJUN
I also think all three will start. That happened last week due to some guys being unavailable. No reason to change after having some success. Troy is a running team and this may be our best group against the run. Norman does have trouble in pass coverage so we may have to pull him on passing downs.Originally Posted by Clutch0364
i also think the norman, risher, burkhalter setup is where its at. All three are the right size and aren't afraid to bring the wood. i'm also fired up burkhalter is a freshman, he's a beast. and norman is a grown ||| man....but he could work on his coverage. risher is just an overall good player. this combo has my o.k.
I also like this combo, but you're both wrong concerning Norman's coverage skills. He's the best cover LB on the team. He's the only LB used when dime coverage is implemented. On most teams, he would be a strong safety. What I would like to see would be Fair added to the combo in certain situations. Those four would be formidable.Originally Posted by cajunbiscuit

Unforunately, we just haven't seen enough of him., however Norman is by far the fastest LB. He's run legitimate 4.50 40s, Mack's a 4.7 or 8.Originally Posted by redcajun
