Condolences on the loss of your dad, Jay. Even though it is not a surprise, it is still a difficult event in your life. I lost my dad in 1999, and I still miss him. Thanks for sharing that with your readers.

BTW, in a rather abrupt change of topic, the article appears to get cut off during your discussion of the Freeman triplets. Not sure if there was much more, but it seemed like the last sentence was not complete.

Jay, my deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your Father. My Dad was a WWII vet also and I lost him back in 1979. You and your family will be in our prayers, my friend!

Thanks, Jay! Sounds like the trip was something of an ordeal all the way around. I'm glad the team played such a remarkably good game to make most of it worthwhile.

The hassles of a road trip like just encountered sure are easier to deal with after a win, aren't they. Especially when it is a lucky seven!

Not to rub it in, we drove back from Murfreesboro and got back at 5:30pm. :-)

Great read Jay. Sorry for your loss.

I found out about your Friday lunch Thursday evening. My nephew works at 2Pauls and mentioned they were providing the sandwiches for Friday.

Jay sorry about your dad. I'm glad you were amongst friends since family was not near. Losing a loved one is tough.
