    Is there still a difference between bowl eligible and bowl qualified? I thought they did away with this rule? If this is still the case we are even in better shape to go bowling because all 7 win teams will have to be placed in an at-large bowl before any 6 win teams.

    The 7 before 6 rule was done away with starting this year. The 6 win AQ confeence teams whined and stomped their feet at the thought of getting passed over for some non-AQ team with more wins.
