Why was Baer kicking those 30 yard pop-ups that game them the ball at their 40 yard line or better? I don't understand the logic in that. Surely, he can kick to ball at least to the 10 or 15 yd. line which is better than the 35 or 40.

I say let Baer punt the football. At least there would not be much of a chance for a run back.

I'm not complaining or anything. I was just saying him being hurt isn't the only reason his kickoffs weren't great. This team just has to over come this. And who knows, maybe kelly will improve with more work.

Not an option on kickoff after a TD or FG, only after a safety.

Baer is hurt. Groin. Can't kick distance.

Since distance is impossible, hang time is the only option.

Thus the sky kick is our only option.

They need to consider squibbing the kickoffs. I can kick close to 60yards! Surely someone on campus can do better than that.

The idea is hang time ----If you can get it high and it is possible that sometimes they have made a fair catch---remember after 10 yards it belongs to anybody !!!!
