You can disagree with me but that will nto change my position on the matter. I loo at Kwartang and Hills and really like what I see...do you realize how often guys make the move from offensive to defensive line, that happens everywhere. Then I look at the rest of our d-line and see a guy like Travis Ferguson who is underachieving because if you look at anything from the preseason he was picked as a guy who has NFL potential. OK Mike Moore is a walk on I have seen him in the backfield a lot this year...like the rest of the defense though, they have a problem tackling when they get there.

I could go on and on but the problem with this team is not the talent it is how they are using the talent. I like bustle and I have tried not to like him after some of the decisions he has made. BUT I believe with the type of guys we have on D we need to be a attacking every down and not letting these QB have all day to throw on us and can we coach a little bit more about containment because the other teams QB has been getting out of the pocket against us far to much the last two years.

Mike Moore is not a walk-on; he is the converted o-lineman

Neither Kwartang or Moore are Bustle recruits, they are from Baldwin staff.

Where have MOST of our problems been in the past few years? DEFENSE. That's what you shoot for first, to find the most talent on that side of the ball. Then fill in accordingly. Recruiting 101 dismissed.

I'm sorry I read somewhere that Moore was a walk on.

Moore is a walk-on when he entered the program. Since he has been given scholarship. Marshall is the converted D Lineman. He played Offensive Tackle at Jesuit High in New Orleans, and was recruited as a guard at UL. First game of the 2003 season against South Carolina, we caught the injury bug, and Marshall moved to D line. His first 3 plays were a sack, tackle for a loss, then a fumble recovery. Not too shabby saying that he never even practiced with Defense before that game.

That is incorrect! Mike Moore was signed in 2001 out Center Texas. The same class as Kwartang. 2001 class for Baldwin and staff.

Maybe Marshall should only practice with the O-line
