The University of Louisiana's defense knows it will be facing a much different offense than the wide-open, full-of-trickery system employed by Blue Raider teams in recent years.

"They're much more in base formations and relying a lot more on the run," said defensive tackle Marshall Delesdernier. "They're much more of a ball control team and using their running game to set up passing situations."

MTSU (2-3, 1-1 Sun Belt) scored only seven points in each of its first three games before a 17-15 win over Vanderbilt three weeks ago and a 35-14 win at Florida Atlantic last Saturday.
