Give Bustle's staff credit for recruiting Gautier but in the end, the Bustle belief system gave Hudspeth an unfair scouting report on Gautier and McGuire.

Bustle was wrong on both counts, the difference being Gautier has gotten a chance to prove Bustle wrong.

I never really bought into Bustle claiming Gautier couldn't grasp the playbook. Although Ram1fan might think otherwise.

I had the same feeling about McGuire. Still remember Bustle closing the final preseason scrimmage in 2009 to the media. I was told by various sources that McGuire outplayed Masson, yet Masson was named the starter.

The biggest issue with McGuire has been injuries. I believe things would have turned out different for him and the program if he hadn't been hurt so many times over the years.

I heard the same thing in 09' from a few of the players on the team. BM did such a great job vs. stAte, I thought it would have been a no brainier. We might just have the most experienced QB staff in college football.
