All I have to say is that the changed times better be convenient enough to where I can drive down to NOLA afterwards and make it in time for the pregame show.

The good thing is that the game starts at 8pm.
Well that kill my plans. I'll have more inlaws and outlaws than you can stir with a stick at the house. And EVERYONE of them will be hungry which means there is no way I can get out of town that night. I'm just glad I paid a little extra for my hotel reservation Saturday so I have the option of canceling within 24 hours of check in time. At least I won't have to entertain them Saturday night WE WILL ALL WATCH THE GAME ON TV.
Received the following from my graduation senior. I think it says it all:
October 24, 2011
Dear UL Fall 2011 Graduating Senior,
The fall 2011 commencement schedule has been finalized.
Commencement will remain on Saturday, December 17. We will NOT
have the General Assembly, therefore you only have to attend one
ceremony. Please go to the Registrar's Office website to view
the updated schedule. All college ceremonies will begin at
9 am with the exception of the college of Education and the
College of Business. The college ceremonies for the College of
Education and the College of Business will begin at 11:30 am.
Please view the commencement schedule for times and locations of
your college ceremony.
Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate students will graduate with
your college.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We made the changes
because of the possibility of being invited to the New Orleans
Bowl which happens to be on Saturday, December 17th as well. I
received many calls from graduating seniors about wanting to
have the ability to attend both commencement and the bowl game
if we are invited. That is why we recommended the change for this
fall 2011 only. Thanks again for understanding.
UL Lafayette fall graduation will be different this semester due to the Ragin' Cajuns Bowl Game Saturday, Dec. 17. The university will forgo the general assembly, which is usually at 9:00 a.m. and involves all graduates and a keynote speaker.
