    UL Football Re: NSU Sportscasters

I very much care that we should one day be called UL or Louisiana, if not officially, then at least popularly (just like the Longhorns or Volunteers not bein know by their city tag). That being said, I again restate how at this point, I couldn't care less what we are called, I'd just like to start havin a hardcore football team that can have a winning season and win some big games.

    God Bless

And if the coach(es) is/are doing it, then the sportscaster(s) for such team(s) may likely be doing the same thing. And, if that's happening, then, in the words of Gov. Minneleas "Pappy" O'Daniel in the movie "Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou?", "We ain't one-at-a-timin' here; we're mass communicatin'!"

And this is the reason I agreed w/ Hot Boudin. Watching this develop, now over something approaching five years, I think, it seems to me this "Lafayette" and "Monroe" thing has more usage than most of the fervent supporters of each university would prefer.

Do you chat on everyone's chat rooms or you just interested in anoying our chat room, Oh, Mickey Neese doesn't have one.

You won't win this argument with me cause I am not gonna accept anything less than what this University deserves. If it weren't colleges like Mickey Neese and LSU stirring up and mingling in other universities' affairs, things would be OK. Why do you think we don't play ya'll in football.

Answer this one? Why is it that UNO got to change their name form LSUNO back in the 70's and their was no opposition from the legislature. Because it is part of the LSUBR system. When it came time for us to change our name in 1984 was it turned around with help from a politican from Leaky Charles. You, see these are names that have been around since I started school in the 60's.

Why does LSUBR get to decide who is what and what is to be called. Dr. Authement worked hard to get us this name change for academic reasons and it has paid off in the form of Federal Research Grants. The university is moving on as it has never done so before. I salute Dr Authement for putting academics first and the other will follow. Football is the money sport but it has not put us on the sports map. I accept that, not the fact that someone from Mcneese is gonna email us and dictate his opinion to me what and why were are called Lafayette. That is a college up North.

YOU need to worry about your university and help get it back up instead of annoying me with you opinions. I took enough flack from you people when I worked in Lake Charles for 6 years, I won't take anymore from your "Likes".
again. If this offends any Cajun fans, then "tough"

Didn't realize I was annoying anyone but you. Even so, annoying anyone, even you, is more than I care to do.

    Have a good day, sir.
