I know it's early, but does anyone have updates to the injury situation? I know we had a few yesterday. Sorry if this is covered in another thread.

Jay said we had three. Griffen had a concussion. Deep snapper Rosenbaum and kicker Stover have knee injuries. I think they will have MRI on the knees today.

Potential injury to the Deep Snapper Rosenbaulm and Kicker Stover could be huge. You guys noticed we went for 2 after Rosenbaulm went down?

Much of our success this years has resulted from special teams. Gunna be heard for Baer to kick w/ out a deep snapper putting the ball in his hands.

Maybe that's why we went for it on fourth and goal from the 17 rather than taking the three and getting us within 8 late in the game.

yea but really if i remember correctly (which doesnt often happen) its was late in the game and we needed two points to make it a touchdown + field goal game, with 1 point or none we still needed two TDs to take the lead....so really wasnt it already an easy call to make with or without the injury?

i could be remembering it wrong, my short term memory isnt very reliable but I thought it was the only call to make in that situation

The chance to cut the lead to eight evaporated when we went for two and failed earlier. Had we kicked the point, it would have been an eight point game.

Going for 2 based only on current points without regard to the clock can even ruin a Super Bowl.
