Amen...W e cant be so shallow as to let one loss turn us sour.... This team ion going bowling.... For 40 years I have waited for that.... I'm still a very happy Cajun fan
Great post, I was disappoint too, but this is not a one season journey. HUD is doing great, and already exceeded 1st season expectations. He has squeeze a lot out of the veteran players and added some great freshmen. We're going to end up with a winning season and be even stronger next year. So I'm STILL excited as all get out......Thanks coach HUD and GEAUX RAGIN CAJUNS!!!!!!
I guess now it's safe for me to get a haircut!
T-nom, we are really good! As Hammer mentioned above, I screwed with the mojo this week and it might have cost us the game...that and the fact that WKU just beat the crap out of us!!!
Ready for the lunch.....sooner or later...
Missed your birthday, right?? I believe Pettus alerted me to that fact.. Happy belated BD.. Tigers looking strong.....REAL strong...
Z
Thanks. I'm an even older fart now ...
Yep, Tigers are looking REAL strong. Been a fun year
Has to be fun for the Cajuns as well. I think Hud was a great hire and has obviously generated a lot of interest in the program. Unlike your favorite former president, T-Joe seems to be making a lot of good moves-from hiring Hud to the improvements on campus
I've been a die-hard Cajuns fan since I was a freshman at UL in 2001. Like the rest of you, I've endured disappointment after disappointment. I was just doing a little thinking after looking at different fans' reaction. The best analogy that I can think of is that us Cajun fans are like that person who goes from one horrible relationship to the next, always being let down in some form or fashion by the other person. Then we meet our soulmate, someone who we feel will turn our frowns upside down and whisk us away into the sunset to live happily ever after. But wait, our soulmate does something that disappointments us, and all of a sudden all the memories of failed relationships of the past come flooding back and we say, "Well, I knew it was too good to be true. It always ends like this." It was one game. The important thing is how the team responds next week. There's adversity everywhere. It's all in how you bounce back from it.
Z as the voice of reason...
How low have we sunk??! LOL
6-2 GEAUX CAJUNS!
