I think everybody needs to settle down a little. WKU is not a bad team at all. In fact, if not for a questionable call, they would have won AT Ark. State, and be 4-0 in conference. Losing to a good team, in conference, on the road, is nothing to be ashamed of. We need to remember that, although we have gotten off to a great start, we are still playing basically the same guys that were 3-9 last year. I'm not saying that these players are not capable, but let's keep our expectations somewhere near reality. We are still having an amazing season, and are far out-performing realistic expectations. Yes, it would be nice to win every week, but having won some close games, at home, does not make us invincible. I fully expect the team to bounce back, and play well next week. Even if we go 2-2 from this point forward, end up 8-4, and in New Orleans on December 17th, would anybody realistically be disappointed??? Let's put this one behind us, and get ready for next week. It's nothing but a step in the process.

I see 19 reasons why we lost. You know those 19 little technicalities that those stupid statisticians keep tract of every game. I think the official term is points. Those 19 darn stupid points were what got the Cajuns 1 in the L column.

they won.....they deserved to win. Our young team had a hell of a run to win 6 straight. Wish I knew what happened to our defense.......gut check time.

what happen to the defense is pretty much what has happened most of the season, IMO. While they have played well at times, they have been bad in stretches also. Today the offense just didnt score enough to cover there butts. and the inability to run the ball, grind out some clock,really bit us. Defense stays on the field way to much. We got beat upfront on both sides of the ball. We have got to get better in these two areas. Stop worrying about bowl games, and worry about getting better as a team.

You know, it's ok to blow off some steam after losing this game and nothing wrong with saying or writing it for those that act like nothing is wrong. We lost to a team that can't win at home, and we should have won this game no doubt. It's embarrassing really, and the team should feel bad about it. They got beat by a suck-azz team. Yeah, the fans don't have to be ok with it either. It's a game and not a season, so much to look forward to and the Cajuns can bounce back, and we will be behind this team for those upcoming games. But for now, this one was bad and you can't sugar coat it. Now, get the defense playing better for next week please and cut out those stupid penalties!

So... now wku owns us in basketball AND football. I agree that the team must have bought into all of the 11-1 talk and did not come to play football.
