Man.....the rules change daily over here. I thought you guys were pushing U of L, now you're accepting the ULL? Did you change back because it didn't stick?

Did you notice the smiley? UL, U of L, Louisiana, etc. are of course still the preferred references. I was just messing with the "directional" reference like our old (USL) name. Some folks get bent about ULL, UL-Lafayette, La-Laf, etc. To me, it just doesn't matter enough if we're still going 1-10, 2-9, etc.

I think Arkansas and Mississippi are the only two states looked down upon by the rest of the country more than Louisiana. NW, NE, who cares, its arkansas. We have what is called CULTURE here in Lafayette. Anyone who has visited here or lives here can attest to that. Your state's only claim to fame is the Clinton's, (so I guess win or loose you always have that post game cigar). Sorry for the clinton joke, just too easy.
