Thread: BABB ON THE MEND

  1. UL Football BABB ON THE MEND

Frustration was etched in Jerry Babb's face during Sunday's UL practice.

The Cajuns' junior quarterback and recognized leader had just come from a training session, gingerly trying to broaden the range of motion in his throwing shoulder, when the place he obviously wanted to be was his team's huddle.

"It's getting a little better each day," Babb said. "It just takes time. You never want to spend more time in the training room than you do on the field," Babb said.

Last weekend I got a report that he was throwing the ball 10 yards, 20 times. I haven't got any new info.

The no contact jersey doesn't mean much, qb's wear them almost all the time..

    Good point.

I don't think he is running any drills, just light throwing.

I'm glad to hear that. I hope the injury is only a bad sprain because there doesn't seem to be a great deal of progress.

Let's keep announcing that he will not play, let MT prepare for the run, then surprise them when Babb comes in and picks 'em apart.
