Unless you get to upper echelon in bowls you get paid in tickets. We will make money on New Orleans Bowl. New Orleans is a area is a place that we get a lot of recruits from and has a lot of great athletes. The guy that does the Saints update with Scott Prather says that they are getting calls on his radio show about the Cajuns going to the bowl and about their season. We used to get a lot of coverage in the New Orleans area. This may help us get us back into the New Orleans media market and help our image.
Thanks for that useful piece of information. If both bowls pay in tickets our ability to put butts in the seats in New Ortlans would translate to $$ for us. Also, as you mention the New Orleans prep scene is a great place to recruit. HUD himself has talked about the I-10 corridor. Given the choice, the NOB would be what we should hope for.
****This man is an idiot, he has ASU as #1 in NO bowl, then FIU as #2 in godaddy bowl. UL in the compass bowl, the sunbelt has never gone to that bowl. First of all the man is dumber than _____, second the compass bowl will take an SEC team before Sunbelt, third UL will be # 1 in the Sunbelt after they smoke that red wolf A-S-S !!!!
Buy your tickets through the UL ticket office, as I'm sure you know.
You'll shatter our record, and you should.

What the Cajuns don’t need to cement their spot in the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, apparently, is a Saturday victory.
