Thread: Fenroy!!!

    Default Fenroy!!!

I love watching him run. I would like to see us try to get the ball in his hands in more creative ways. He has shown power and quickness in the back and his feet never quit moving. Every game I come away more impressed with him then the game before. I would like to see him touch the ball 20+ times a game...I know that is a lot to put on a freshmen's shoulder but I think he can handle it.

Against FAU I was dissappointed when we stopped giving him the ball but I look forward to watching him again this next week against ASU. I won't be able to make it to the game but I will be yelling at my TV screen the whole time.

I think he is the real deal; but we've got to mix up the offense to give him better chances to succeed. When we become too much run oriented, they can clog up the running lanes too easily with DBs. Even if we only employ a short, controlled passing game, that could loosen things up some for Fenroy (and others) to run more effectively.

I say put them in the I backfield and run the option with Dezmo. Take advantage of what you do best. Mix in some short pass plays and go deep every now and then. It will at least give you more options that the shotgun formation and get Fenroy and Levier a chance to run downhill.

Maybe we should bring back the "Wishbone" offense until Babb returns........

Not the wishbone but I think we need to go more out of the I because it is more running back friendly. With Levier and Fenroy...Lindon and Jenkins leading the way I would like our running game a lot more.
