Thread: That light at the end of the tunnel is a train

  1. Default That light at the end of the tunnel is a train

Same old, same old. I have been a student at UL since 2001. I love the Cajuns but I'm tired of these losing seasons. Its the same thing every year: The team sucks, go to the games watch them lose, get disappointed, and get excited again over the summer. We've been turning the corner for the past 5 years, thats a wide right turn. Oh, well. I'll be at the Tulane-Houston, after that I may not want to go back to another UL game. I've seen better high school games than the one that I saw tonight. The reason people don't come is because they put a terrible product out on the field. Both teams played poorly tonight, and thats not going to get people in the seats. Man, another year, same stuff, why us!! Why?!!

I want to apologize for my post last night. I was really frustrated after going to two games in five days that I know that we should have won. I know that the football team doesn't go out on field wanting to lose and I know that they are probably frustrated too. There are 6 games left in the season, and we still have a chance to have a winning season. Sorry, big67, my words were harsh last night. You guys continue to go out there and do your best. No matter how frustrated I get, I'll be at every game because I love my school. We still have a chance this season. Imagine, a home bowl game. Anyway, Good Luck Cajuns on your next two road games.

Something to remember. This team and coaching staff will never quit on you. I'm sure they appreciate you not quitting on them.

Guys, this is a message board! If you can't take the harsh reality of things, don't read the posts!

I think we have too many people worried about their status for the "league" and not worried about the team.

I am worried about the team and their status in the league. The higher they are in the league the more money UL gets.

Winning = Money = More Winning

I apologize, when I say the league, I mean the "NFL". I believe we have too many dreamers and not enough realists. Remember, only 1 in 10,000 people make a professional roster. Sure, tons get drafted and signed as free agents, but that doesn't mean they will actually make the team.
