Is there a range of bowls for best (or best for BCS championship) 1st then the rest of bowls? If so, logic says we should be in the 20th best bowl at this time.

My thoughts, play in the best of the 2 that Belt is tied to against the best team possible. Win that and look to recruiting, a 12-0 season next year, mass upgrades and improvements to Cajun Field and posssible being talk to by a BCS conference.

Massey rating through about half of the rankings they use has us at #54.

New Orleans bowl is the only bowl for the Cajuns.

Me too. New Orleans was an easy sell. Taking the family to Mobile or farther from Austin is tougher. I have been to 4 of the top 5 attendance games at Cajun Field. This weekend was rediculous. I don't remember my ears cracking before, not even A&M. I would love to see us pegging the meter in the Superdome.
