Thread: SHAKE-UP IN THE SUNBELT (NT vs TROY)

Troy's QB is not performing very well in regards to finding his WR's...Takes a long time to make a decision as to what he is gonna do with the ball! If NT wins...it will be because of the poor play of Troy's QB!

NT's Offense has appeared to settle down...playing much better now! Throwing the ball more with success...opening up holes for the running game!

NT just attempted a 51 yard FG....and missed

Wow...Troy just fumbled....NT recovered, the guy who recovered the ball... scooped it up with about 8 blockers in front of him and he fumbled the ball out of bounds! NT will score after receiving this gift!

After having the ball 1st and goal on the 5 yardline....NT has to settle for a Baz-al-du-a field goal! Score Troy 7...NT 3!

Troy's QB Meadows...has no touch on his passes! He had a WR open five yards ahead of the NT DB who was covering him....and missed him! Would of been an easy TD! Both offenses seem to be struggling....

Commentators are teasing one of NT's fans who painted himself all green! Called him Shrek! Said he was mad at his living conditions and didn't want to go to class! Soooooooooooo funny!

NT just blocked an attempted FG by Troy.....Halftime, Thank God!

Overall...not a good showing for the SunBelt....Not impressed with either offense! Troy's defensive front appears to be very strong....however, DB's are struggling to keep up with NT's WR's....Both teams QB's are not very good! NT's RB's have shown signs of their potential, but the offensive line for NT is not giving them much to work with! IMO, if R. Bustle can get our Cajuns focused...we should defeat both of these teams! Both teams will have trouble with our offense!

    Halftime...NT 3...Troy 7!

I think I'll read about the results in tomorrows newspaper! Any one of them can win this sloppy game!

Completely agree about the Troy QB. Seems he's more worried about the rush than looking down field to see his WIDE OPEN receivers! If we learn anything about this game it will be to put 8 in the box and pressure the heck out of him. Running game is begining to work for Troy, right up the gut.

Could be wrong, but I think we have a fair chance against both these teams.

I completely agree. I think our chances also go up due to the fact that we get Troy at home, and I think that of the 2, I would rather face them at home than them on the road. I also dont think their Defense is as good as advertised, I just think that UNT's offense is acctually worse than advertised this year. Both of these teams are completely beatable, but we're gonna have to use some more of our blitz package and man up against the pass, in which I think we would match up very well against their WR's.

    WOW

    North Texas Goes Down.............

It is really wide open. I think the Cajuns look better that both N Texas & Troy. The opportunity is there. Will we take advantage??

I've now seen everyone in this conference on television except ULM who might be one of the tougher teams this year. From what I've seen, We should be able to move the ball on everyone this year. I see no reason why we shouldn't lead the conference in most offensive stats. I feel alot better about our chances at north texas. If I'm not mistaken, north texas has not had 200 yards of offense this season.

P.S. It's nice to see that 26 game streak gone. I wish we could have ended it, or at least someone who's been in the conference longer...oh well, we can help UNT with a losing streak now.

CAJUNS in a bowl at home............It's our year!!!!!
