Completely agree about the Troy QB. Seems he's more worried about the rush than looking down field to see his WIDE OPEN receivers! If we learn anything about this game it will be to put 8 in the box and pressure the heck out of him. Running game is begining to work for Troy, right up the gut.

Could be wrong, but I think we have a fair chance against both these teams.

I completely agree. I think our chances also go up due to the fact that we get Troy at home, and I think that of the 2, I would rather face them at home than them on the road. I also dont think their Defense is as good as advertised, I just think that UNT's offense is acctually worse than advertised this year. Both of these teams are completely beatable, but we're gonna have to use some more of our blitz package and man up against the pass, in which I think we would match up very well against their WR's.

    WOW

    North Texas Goes Down.............

It is really wide open. I think the Cajuns look better that both N Texas & Troy. The opportunity is there. Will we take advantage??

I've now seen everyone in this conference on television except ULM who might be one of the tougher teams this year. From what I've seen, We should be able to move the ball on everyone this year. I see no reason why we shouldn't lead the conference in most offensive stats. I feel alot better about our chances at north texas. If I'm not mistaken, north texas has not had 200 yards of offense this season.

P.S. It's nice to see that 26 game streak gone. I wish we could have ended it, or at least someone who's been in the conference longer...oh well, we can help UNT with a losing streak now.

CAJUNS in a bowl at home............It's our year!!!!!

    Default SHAKE-UP IN THE SUNBELT

Interesting game last night between North Texas & Troy.

North Texas has lost their first SBC game in 4 years and looked young/inexperienced.

Troy looked decent but young in their victory.

I know UL is young as well but we may be able to win the conference IF we can eliminate stupid mistakes.

Did anyone else watch the game?

UL Football Re: SHAKE-UP IN THE SUNBELT

You are right on all three points. North Texas is beatable by a number of SBC teams. We have to play our best to compete. We are young and so are they.

    Let's play ball! Go Cajuns!

Wow, Troy was looking like they were going to be towards the bottom of the conference standings this year. Does this mean that Troy is better than I thought or UNT has finally dropped down a rung?

I agree and the game begins tomorrow night

These first 4 games mean nothing in the conference race, the real season is now
