any predictions on the first conference game of the season?
mine prediction is a cajuns victory 28-10. to go 1-0 in conference play.

I think with Desormeaux in the backfield we need to utilize the option a little bit more and get him out of the pocket like we did last week. I like the option play that brings Derek Smith into the backfield but can we run a different play out of it so its not so obvious lol...my prediction is the Cajuns when by 14 lead by Fenroy with his 2nd 100 yard rushing day.

There is no reason that we dont win this game. There leading rusher is only getting 2.9 yards per carry.

I'm really thrilled that we can help you guys get to a better conference.
Actually, I think this game will be close. Except for the Louisville blowout you've played well against pretty good teams. But, that can also take a toll on young teams. We've done that in the past and have been pretty beat up entering conference play. I'm looking for a score more like the UCF game we just played; but I'm going with the home team this time.
Question for FAU fans: Is this game going to be telecast on the sunshine network? Having trouble finding it on any listings in San Antonio. Regardless, enjoy the game and don't be too down on your team when they leave Lafayette 0-6.

I just have that feelin that this is a blowout game in our favor. Not that FAU is bad, i just think that we're going to go out with a new sense of urgency and we're going to be very ~~~~ed after the loss to UCF. My believe is itll be 35-10.

Hey, I hope you're right! We need to get some excitement back in Cajun Field leading up to homecoming. Hopefully there is a good crowd thursday night and a full house for HC against Troy. I plan on making it back into Lafayette for HC and FIU games.
