I would imagine it could start w/ Orlando Thomas, but the modern incarnation was Peanut.

I'm a huge bears fan and a huge Peanut fan, but I've been calling UL DBU since moving back from Chicago and then seeing Michael Adams shut down opposing receivers. Growing up in Michigan/Chicago I remember when Penn St was about to join the Big Ten. The announcer would always call them Linebacker U. With all the great DBs that have played here and the one that are, we should be know as DBU. Or maybe if we break the NCAA record.... Pick 6 U. Ha ha. you heard it here first.
