Yesterday the spread was on the Sun Belt. Today it's on the SEC.

And if you think the sports page doesn't have a UL story, what the hell do you call that banner headline on sports page 1.

    And, there's a related story quoting O'Leary.

    C'mon man.

is it just me, or when the advocate covers the cajuns, the info is usually presented as more well thought and just overall better than lafayette's own.

    So do I.

Your post said that in today's paper there was no mention of the Cajuns. You are wrong....twice. The banner headline on the front sports page talks about our recruiting being in jeopardy, which, in case you don't realize, is the lifeblood of our athletic program.

    That's one mention.

The article on O'Leary talks about our team. That's two mentions.

And no, I don't work for the Advertiser. But your post simply wasn't true.

Cancel if you want to. Geaux Cajuns.

    Default UCF Game

I think there is a game breakdown on ragincajuns.com but I am sure for those without internet they would like to read a breakdown of the game in the hometown paper.

    Hey BOP.

    What is up, dude?

Not to be critical, but I noticed you, just like me, were having a hard time telling who was carrying the ball last game. (hate those numbers )

Without names on the jerseys, it has got to be double tough for you.

Just call out Fenroy or Smith. Odds are that you'd probably be correct.

    P.S.

*special request-How 'bout a little "Whoa Nellie!" in honor of Keith Jackson.

It's not college football season until I hear that.

His post may have not been completely accurate, but it was damn close. What a sad excuse for a newspaper! I cancelled.

I hope the online version isn't typical of a Saturday because that story is a Wednesday fluff story. Great for a Wednesday but not a Saturday.

I was also disappointed OM! How in the hell can we get this city excited about the Cajuns if we can't get a HEIGHTENED level of publicity from our own local newspaper! We should have SOMETHING posted in regards to Cajun football during the season EVERYDAY! Headlining a non-local team when there is a current local team participating in the same sport kinda reinforces the mindset that no one likes a loser and that the local team is second rate! Doesn't take a genius to figure that out!

A winning team will get you on the front paper.
