You've got to be kidding me!! Oh, this is great. You guys had a coach fudge his resume? Amazing. Simply amazing.Originally Posted by Zeebart21
And THIS is your rationale? I'm literally laughing. This is fantastic.
Ya'll want to throw out resumes when you've done it yourselves. Hilarious.
And Z, besides your self-insulting rationale (oh it's just Lafayette), consider that when Georgie fudged his resume it was for his first coaching job. He was just dumb and never fixed it.
Big difference is that, like ND, we FIRED the coach who lied on his resume when we found out.Originally Posted by st932253

He has an accurate resume when he applied at UCF. He was qualified. He was hired.Originally Posted by AstroCajun

Our graduation rates are up, our players are in the best shape ever, and he's motivated an intense capital development campaign that includes a now completed indoor practice facility and an on campus stadium to open in 2007. With recruiting sandals and PROP 48 problems all over the country - I'll forgive a resume mistake from TWENTY YEARS AGO over a dirty program anyday.
I'd say it was the right hire.
But I understand - you guys gotta go with what you got for smack. I'm sure throwing resumes onto the field will be quite effective.
Well I'm glad that after he was fired and nationally humilated he found it within him self to clean up his resume before his next job interview. Also, that happend less than TWENTY YEARS AGO. I know everytime I make a resume I check for errors. I'm glad he's doing good things for your program, great, that is not the point. And before you start "literally laughing" you should start literally reading. We made a mistake by not checking the resume of a guy (Glynn Cyprian) who had coached at Okla. St. for years, and then fired him less then three months later when the it was evident that he had lied. He never coached the team, and he recruited for 1 month, that's it!Originally Posted by st932253
I'm sick of you obtusely arrogant, ignorant morons talking trash when you have won 1 out of your last 18 attempts. As for me, I'll let the players do the talking. I bet we won't here a word from you on this board on sunday.
THEY STILL HAVEN'T WON ON THE ROAD SINCE 2002!!!!Originally Posted by geo_cajun

Yes, the difference is that ULL had to fire their coach because he lied on his resume that he submitted to ULL.Originally Posted by RaginRash
UCF would have done the same thing if O'Learys resume wasn't accurate when he applied.
You're probably right. Why rub your nose in poopy. It's just not sporting.Originally Posted by geo_cajun
