Thanks. I know that if you are from Florida, you know what it's like to be on the receiving end of one of these things. NOT FUN! You guys have had more than your share the past year or so. I don't wish these things on anybody. Just whenever you're in the projected path you wish it would go somewhere else. I'm pretty safe from Rita over in Mandeville (north of New Orleans). But my son is a senior at UL and is still in Lafayette. I've tried to talk him into heading home for this one, but he doesn't want to leave his girlfriend (who is from the NO area). I told him to bring her along, but apparently she doesn't want to leave. As a parent all you can do sometimes is pray for their safety. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
