FIU had success running the football against us and they are supposed to be better than Troy this year, Did they win??

FIU also was missing the two biggest pieces of their passing game. So they had to run and couldn't pass. Just saying.

I know that every team is different. Jesus, I didn't just start doing this yesterday.

But the facts are the facts. When Troy is successful running the football, they win. Period.

And, if they have success running the football against us, they will win again. Period.

Last year we finally kept them from running and had we not turned it over five times, we would have won.

and, as I said earlier, if you want different points in different order, write your own....but don't tell me how to write mine.
Whats the point of writing these then publishing on a public forum if you don't want to see what people reply and get all defensive about it? I am sharing on the forum What else I see that are key essentials to beating Troy, You mad you didn't think of it first?? lol

and they were successful at it and still couldn't beat us....Just saying
They were missing TY Hilton just like we were missing L. Green vs. Kent St. but we still came away with the win. Football consist of the whole team to have winning programs in college. They had QB Carroll for the game and we took him out.

I agree that we all have the right to voice our opinions on what Jay writes, that's the point of a messageboard. Although I think you're underrating their running game a little, they're definitely a pass first team.

I am not trying to underrate their run game, I just think that its not the #1 thing we should do in order to stop troy. If Troy is a Pass first team, then that is the first thing we have to stop and that will make them one dimensional to the run which we have shown we are capable of stopping like we did vs. FAU and Kent St.

Troy Ran the ball to beat a bad....BAD UAB team I believe we are way better than UAB and even though I still expect a close game I think the pass is what we are going to have to worry about because we have been susceptible from it in the past this year

that is also what my main concern is vs. MTSU, Ark St, and Arizona....the three other pass heavy teams on our schedule.

You can say whatever the hell you want.

But you started off by questioning my credibility by suggesting I did no research. That makes me defensive.

because your "facts" arent very credible in my opionion

Well his facts that Troy has run all over is indisputable. You may disagree with the opinion that it's the first thing we need to stop, the fact is that they've run well on us to beat us.

But weren't his "facts" stated that when Troy has run well against us, they have won. When we have been able to control their running game we have had a chance to win, or did win.

To me that sounds like doing some research, but that is just my opinion.

Troy has Run well against Rickey Bustle and his lack of making adjustments in the past. He has not seen Troy play against Mark Hudspeth and His coaching staff so there are no facts on this yet.
