I'll let you read what I responded with to his 5 keys to beating FAU....I stated this before the game even played and BOP doubted me.

I have no idea what BOP has in mind when writing these blogs, but have you ever considered that he is trying to talk about other aspects of their game besides the obvious?
You putting the #1 key as shutting down the passing game is like a fantasy football analysts telling you to start Aaron Rodgers this week. Tell us something besides the given.....
If we shut down their run game, we have a better opportunity of controlling the clock and forcing turnovers. Our defenses strength in my opinion isn't the run game (although statistically it is), but its getting after the QB, putting pressure on him, and forcing him into bad decision, this is obvious by the amount of turnovers we've caused and how many sacks we've gotten. I agree with Jay, I think that if we slow the run game and get them passing more, we will cause a few turnovers and we can/will win the game. Remember, they are a good team, but they don't have a Jerrel Jernigan to bail them out this year.
By the way, their pass/run ratio is about 60/40, shut down 40% of the offense and good things will happen.
Here is a stop the rush stat for us to consider. . .
Turbo stat:
In Troy's wins 16 of their first downs came via the run.
In Troy's losses 11 of their first downs came via the run.
Their first downs via the pass in wins/losses is a wash, 28/27
Geaux Cajuns
What were the yardage for these? and on what downs?
How many were for big gains or short gains?
