Thread: Forecast for Saturday?

    Default Forecast for Saturday?

Just wondering what the forecast is looking like for saturday's game. Hoping for good weather and a good game; and my idea of a good game is a 20-pt cajun win!
    I can dream can't I.

Minimun of a 12 pack, some great food, and plenty of partying. Oh yeah, a Cajun win 35-18 with 2 blocked extra points and an unsuccesful 2 point attempt. Hopefully a larger margin but NWST looks good.

Play ur best OLB the whole game and win. Look at his stats last game and remember that he did this while playing less then half the time.

    OPEN YOUR EYES, PRY!!!!

    DEEP POCKETS HAVE DEEP INFLUENCES

Pry is clueless. We haven't stopped anyone in years.

When you have a front 7 as flimsy as a cardboard wall, it's hard to stop anybody.

Now, if he is the man resposible for picking the guys there, you may have a point.

Ok I'll give you that. We need a bigger DL plain and simple. You don't have to have superstar linebackers if the DL gets penetration or at least keeps the lineman off the backers. We need a couple JC DL next year!

When was the last time we sacked an opposing teams quarterback?

With all the offensive talent we brought in last year...maybe we will be able to focus on defensive players after this season!

I sure as heck hope so.

I believe not pressuring the quarterback centers around 3 things:

    1) Philosophy-The scheme the staff seems to want to run is the "bend, don't break" model. Coach Bustle continually emphasizes not giving up the big play. That translates to not blitzing so much if at all.

    2) Ineffective DT play-Without a push from the middle , and no blitzing, there won't be many sacks.

    3) Slow DE's-Our DE's are good. They just don't have that burst around the outside needed.

We HAVE TO go after a coulple of Juco DT's this off-season. The bleeding must stop.

We're just really young at LB. Other than that, Risher has to play better. A Juco LB wouldn't hurt either.
