Who knows what causes burnt ROUX? The doorbell rings, a phone call distracts you, you have to go to the restroom, who knows. Any minor distraction can cause burnt ROuX.

Bottom line is you can never stop stirring the pot when it comes to rec-ROUX-ting

Oooo, let's hope he sees that.

That will really keep him interested in UL.

I am pretty sure it matters not a bit one way or the other what we might comment. Do you think he really expects everyone to wish him well for breaking his contract.

Probably not. But let's put it this way - it probably isn't very helpful, just in case he might have second thoughts. Not to mention how that might impact his brother. Just sayin' ...

I wish him the best in whatever decision he makes. Lots of different options out there, he's still a kid.

Well now I hope that Marlin doesn't grant him his release!

I would say grant it on the terms he couldn't go to another SBC team. If Marlin doesn't release him, it would make for an awkward situation between him and JJ.

You treat an ex player like an ex spouse. You always speak well of them but make sure you never end up with adjoining property.

On that basis, I would say NO to any release to another team inside the State of Louisiana.

Gotta head out of State, I just couldn’t bear seeing side-by-side headlines of the exploits of my ex and my current in the Daily Advertiser.

Let Pancake go to a prep school, no waiver. The younger Thomas has no good reason to request a wiaver except, whatever he says is a good reason from his viewpoint. JJ Thomas needs to focus on being a better player. This year he almost looks like a ball hog. I often recognize when he will take a shot even when it is clear that he should not. At the pace he is playing he will be lucky if Marlin offers him a renewal.
