Funny story, I spoke with "Pancake" on Wednesday. I made a comment to one of his friends and "Pancake" responded, "Man, you sound educated". My response was, "that's what happens when you earn a degree from The University of Louisiana". We all started laughing as is we knew he was coming to UL. As a recruit should, he smiled from ear to ear and said, "every one will know where I am going by the weekend", well there you are. He said he really likes the Cajundome. Can't wait to see him put a Cajuns uniform on! "Pancake" for 3!!!!

He's originally from Opelousas. A shooting guard is the 6-3 or 6-4/180-pound range. Very smooth on court. Unlike JJ, he is a natural perimeter player. Huge commitment. Even bigger to get him to sign early (NCAA's early signing period is Nov. 9-16). Type of player to garner even more attention in spring from bigger programs. Was all-state last year for Scotlandville and should be again as a senior.
