Thread: Norman to give defense a boost

  1. This is Upsetting Norman to give defense a boost

Despite missing the season opener due to suspension, Tyler Norman is expected to start this week at OLB and his presence will be quickly noticed. Norman has the ability to attack the football quickly and deliver bone-crushing hits.

After watching the UT game, I noticed that the OLBs were waiting for the ball, getting pushed around, and shooting gaps with their eyes closed. If Norman can control himself, he is slated to turn some heads this year as a substantial defensive threat in the Sunbelt.

    Zeebart,

Your apology accepted. I know I shouldn.t read these posts as I always
feel they hurt kids more than address the positives. This has been a difficult time for Tyler because he not only let his team down, but himself. He has paid a high price and we are thankful that he has another opportunity to get an education at UL and do what he loves-play football. The coaches and community have always been good to our family and we love that about this school and are glad to be a part of the program. Tyler is wild and way to emotional for me, but the coaches are doing a great job of teaching him self control. He still has way to go. I love the kids on team and know all of them try their best to win and they will ! I look forward to meeting you at one of the home games. Jane Norman

  8. This is Upsetting Don't be so quick to assume...

I am sorry if I had mislead anybody about my identity. Maybe its my fault I didn't fill out all of my profile, or worse, maybe people didn't even read it before they assumed the post was made by Mrs. Norman. Surely, if one had read my initial profile and saw that I was born in 1982 and graduated from UGA this year, they would have known this. This truely reflects upon their ingorance.

My name is Philip Johnson and I played football with Tyler in high school. Being that he was the only player from my class to go to a big name school, I have followed him since his days at Western Carolina. Yes, I am a little bit bias towards "T-Murder", but why shouldn't I be. I am sorry for only watching the play of the OLBs on Saturday. But to be honest, I didnt see anything that I liked

And finally, to those who did not know he has the potential, click on the URLs below to find out. And please, atleast read them before you assume anything.

While this isn't a big corps, it should be solid with four good players returning and an emerging star in Tyler Norman on the outside. The big key will be to get stronger against the run.
