I don't think so. None of their wins would likely be against teams in the top half of D-1 football unless FIU finishes strong. I also do not think there is ANY chance the Cajuns go 10-2. Their talent level is at, slightly below, or slightly above their conference mates. The odds of them coming out ahead in all of those games is very slim. UL has a chance to win and lose every game on the schedule from here on out out (except for AZ where they will be huge underdogs). They need to win 4 of them!
The FAU game is so important for so many reasons other than it is the next game. There will be a big crowd, recruits in house, and a chance to capture the marginal fan who is expecting them to fall. If the Cajuns sit at 4-1 it would almost guarantee a winning season.
