Starting lineup???

OK guys well I'm going to post what I think the starting lineup will look like this season barring any injuries and ya'll post your thoughts also.

QB - Jerry Babb
FB - Dwight Lindon
HB - Chester Johnson but I think he will be pushed hard
WR - Bill Sampy
WR - Cory Fredrick
WR - Jordan Jackson
TE - Erik Jones or Kevin Belton
OL - Brandon Cox
OL - Will Chance
OL - Greg Hodges
OL - Justin Ernest
OL - Jesse Newman

Yeah I know thats 12 guys but we go with 3 WR's a lot so I put who I thought would be the # 3 guy.

DE - Eugene Kwarteng
DT - Travis Ferguson
DT - Marshal Delesdernier
DE - Tony Hills
LB - Tre Green
LB - Mark Risher
LB - Tyler Norman
CB - Michael Adams
FS - Terryl Fenton

Leger most likely but I read on another post that he hurt his knee during yesterdays scrimmage.

I think the offensive line depth will be a problem only because of the inexperience of our second team. We really don't know what lot of them can do during a game time situationa because they haven't been put into that type of situation. As a Non-BCS program the hardest thing to do is find good offensive and defensive linemen. Trust me when I say this we are not even close to being the only team in the country with depth problems at thoughs position. You can even look at some big programs such as say Texas.they have one of the best o-lines in college football this year but the players behind them have little to no experience sure they have a lot of talent backin them up but talent can only do so much.

Have faith everybody I think everything will work itself out with our o-line.

I love it when people complain about the size of our linemen on both sides of the ball and say the coaching staff needs to go out and recruit bigger linemen.

As if the coaching staff was passing up these big linemen to recruit the undersized guys. Problem is, all the big schools want these guys too.

I'm one that thinks big is overrated. Sure a 6'8 300lbs linemen is great but you don't have to be that size to be successful.

I think we are going to learn a lot about the WRs in the first two games. It will be interesting to see who gets in done in game situations and if Babb starts to favor a particular newcomer.

Just what size are our linemen and linebackers? All I have seen so far are the weights of the players from last year or spring practice? At what weight did they report for fall practice? Can we get something other than a 2003 Prospectus?

Just listened to the archive. Great show today. I was listening to hear if there was any discussion regarding knee braces for linemen. Didn't notice any discussion, so if I missed it, my bad. Anyway, if it wasn't asked, could you bring it up next time to get Coach's take on the use of knee braces. Same for Rusty since he spent some time in the pile too.
