4th. As for the distance program doing well here, I think not. Dead last in cross country and a poor showing at the recent indoor meet says that program has major problems. Dead last means dead last. Good distance coaches are consistent winners and over-achievers -- not just those flirting every year with the staus quo. The guy you say does a good job lost a star freshman runner who quit a full scholarship here (to trasnfer to LSU for nothing) because that distance coach HASN'T RECRUITED ANYONE!

Anyways, you say the cross country team winning conference was a "fluke". Your an idiot. They had one heck of a team that year. Walt, Jake, Justin, Chad, and Ryan. That was one heck of a top 5.

I will promise you this. If the cross country team doesn't finish in AT LEAST the top 3 next season at the conference meet, I will kiss your @ss...literaly.

Hey Brent, there will be idiots every step of your way in life. The key is not to spend too much time dwelling on them. They're a waste of our precious time.

I know the CC team will be much better next year. There's a possibility I may have a vested interest in it next year.

Some people just p iss me off on these message borads, and eventually I can't help but to respond and defend the program I run for. This is one of the main reasons I try not to visit dyestat.com anymore, people are always talking c rap about The Woodlands and it p isses me off.

As for getting some of my former Woodlands teammates over here. Well, there are only 2 seniors this year, one of them is my best friend and he just signed to run for Georgetown . BUT, next year I hope to get at least one of them over here because there are about 5 or 6 juniors right now that I feel could and would make a huge contribution to the team, and I know they will have a good attitude and work hard.

In case anyone didn't know, I'm a newb to this program. I just transfered here this semester, and red-shirted indoor and outdoor track. I'm not sure (indepth) about the history of the UL track program, but I know that the distance guys will def be stepping it up and turning some heads, that I promise.

Get a clue. You cannot afford the LSU asst. and the other guy might have too much baggage. And which X 's are you referring to? Coach Arceneaux? LOL! Give me a break!

Wrong. They ARE recruited, but name more than three who would score in the Sun Belt. Get out the Sun Belt list at the end of the season and look for yourself.

Pictures would be GREAT. I know my parents would purchase them. What we really need is someone to photograph us doing workouts on the track or out at Acadiana (sp?) park. I have tons of pictures of me racing, but none of me working out, I just always thought it would be cool to have some like that.
