Briscoe needs a little work in the classroom but we'll see how it goes

Benjamin needs to become academically eligible first. He's told people that he's committed to UTEP in basketball and TCU and LSU in football. There's still plenty of work for him to do before becoming a student-athlete at the next level. And, yes, Slappy, there's some baggage there. No real guidance.

He has 'committed' to three different schools in two different sports? It sounds like he doesn't understand the idea of committment. It just seems odd, is this normal? I guess it is no different than a school accepting 3 committments for one opening, knowing you will just grey shirt the others.

I would like to see them Mitchell Cunningham running back out of Mississippi. He just looks like the kid you would want in your program natural leader. Nice size decent speed at 4.47. Averaged 8 yds a carry last year and over 200 return yds on special teams. And we are high on his list along with Mississippi State and Mississippi.
