I personally hope Masson starts again. We are 2-0 this season when he gets the nod!!!

All I know from the eyeball test is that if Desormeaux and Gauthier leave the pocket with the ball at the same time, Desormeaux gets to the endzone faster.

Especially if the field is full of defenders. Dezmo was flat slippery.....

From your original post: "It's amazing how deeply some of you dislike Blaine (for reasons that has to lie outside of football)..."

Everyone here has been giving their reasons for the particular QB they support and it has all been based on their interpretation of what they have seen on the field. You were the one making an insinuation in them moment above that their reason for wanting someone other than Blaine as being based on something other than on the field performance. It may be a subtle, but it was still playing the race card, IMO.

You are correct and we "UL fans" need to drop that subject. Come on guys. Chris did not move the offense and he did not take care of the ball, that is why Hud pulled him. As for Mike, he had the best play action/ play fake I have ever seen. So by the time defenses would read it, be would be down the field. Mike and Jerry were great at this. To be honest Jerry was the better athlete of them both. Drop the race issue it's 2011! Blaine took care of the ball and moves the offense, until that changes, he's the starter

The offense has not had a three and out with Blaine in the game since the 3rd quarter at OK State. Some of that is because of
the change of pace he provides. Can he be as effective consistently as a starter is a question I don't know the answer to.

In my opinion Jer was the best ever at the play action fake hand off and Mike was just as good.

The two should start a school.

Ram1fan needs to tone down the rhetoric a little. Most people on here are extremely fair-minded, and he keeps insinuating otherwise. He's an over the top Blaine fan and that is massively acceptable. But, he attacks people that honestly evaluate what they see. That is not good PR for Blaine. If he cares about Blaine he needs to lighten up. Blaine is winning the job on his own. We are insignificant observers... and that includes me and Ram1fan.
