What's different? I just woke up at Cajun Field. The air smells different, my nerves feel different, the stadium looks different...and I guarantee that tonight's RESULTS will be different!
Life as a Ragin Cajun is good!!

The lack of Rap Music played over the PA was great. They actually played some ZZ Top and Doobie Brothers during the game.
The security people with yellow shirts were apparent throughout the stadium along with plenty of University police, city police and sheriff deputies. That was good to see.
They STILL do not know how the handle a large group of people wanting to enter the stadium through the press box gates. I left my tailgate area at 5:30 and they had people lined up all the way to the access road from the gates. (I walked around the stadium and entered on the student side). I got in for the Bands pregame show.
The upper deck was about 80% full, the lower level about the same. The end zone grass had a decent crowd and the student side was well represented. I guess there were at about 30,000 people there tonight.
Well it was new and old---Jake Delhomme down on the field with all us old FB players and just as easy going and is nice and just being a part of the whole group----that was kinda new and the old part---Jake has always just been CLASS!!!!! I checked the TECH TARPS OUT TONIGHT AND of course they had nearly the same amount of fans as us with the tarps and with all the empty seats----We need to get our numbers up as compared to them cheating on the folks at the game!!!!
Boomer, Tech is 1-2 and we are 2-1, they have maximized their potential while we have just scratched the surface. We had over 28k for the game and people still aren't convinced we have turned the corner. If we go into FIU and pull off the upset we will have a sellout for the FAU game.
We as fans and supporters need to worry about this program moving forward and quit looking at programs that are in our rearview mirror. La Tech is now in a crappy conference, crappy coach, crappy location and they have started their decline.
Ha ha. While I believe we are doing better there is no reason to think that Tech is in our rearview until we start winning games. Tech may be 1-2, but they played two talented CUSA teams. They will likely go to 1-3 after this weekend, however, I"m not convinced that they won't make a bowl game.
