Breaux Bridge – The City Council Tuesday voted to increase the base cost of tap water from $7.15 to $9 for customers inside the city limits, and the wholesale cost to the Cecilia Water Corporation, which buys water from the city, from $2.69 per 1,000 gallons to $3.75 per 1,000.
