For those too young to have been around back then and not have had the opportunity to experience UL/USL basketball back in the late sixties and early seventies prior to the death penalty, you can’t even begin to imagine what USL basketball was like.
Dr. Maggard and the UL administration keeps harping on the “fan experience”. Well we are nowhere close to what that experience was like.
When I was in high school I would ride my bike to school on game days, just so I could go straight to Blackham after school to make sure I could get a ticket and be able to get into the games!
