Lafayette PD Featured on COPS
The Lafayette Police Department was showcased on the television hit Cops.
Saturday night, the first of the seven shows aired on fox for the all new season premiere. Crews rode around with the Lafayette Police Department for eight weeks, capturing every move.
The chief of police tells us they saw it as a great opportunity to showcase the police department and the professionalism that officers show while they are out on the road everyday.
