I think both will and should play going forward but my opinion is as useless as all the others. HUD will make the call and hopefully ride the hot hand to at least 6 more w's.
Masson struggled against a D1A bottom feeder(in the rain). Gautier struggled against a top10 team. My worthless opinion points to Gautier(unless we continues to turn over the ball and I scream for McGuire).

Right now, it has to be Gautier. He has earned it.

How about just enjoying the first OOC win since Houston 2006?

    Kickoffs are still awful.
Bill Bentley was hitting all night, and will hopefully be doing the same on Sundays.
    Way way too many turnovers.
Offense looks a little stagnant right now.
Defense looks much better over last year.

Let's get ready for NSU, get to 2-1, and get ready for conference play!

I am enjoying it in my own special way!
To me the only number that matters is 6...as in six wins. Tonight got us closer to that goal, and for that I am very happy. I also know 6 wins will be near impossible with QB play like we saw tonight.

I lean toward a QB who can think & move the ball down the field at the same time. Look at it this way guys. at keast UL has two options & those two options contrast with each other. After we put Gauthier in the game I started wondering if KSU's coach had another option & if that option was just more of the same. Gauthier will likely be the starter the rest of the year, but that doesn't mean the coach may not have a quick leash or change out guys to change pace in a game. In today's game with the great players on defense & the differing philosophies today it comes down to match ups. Mason may have been a better match up for what OSU did, but Gauthier was definitely a better match up for what KSU did. I think this will continue to be a work in progress, but I would love to see Gauthier with Griffin & Walker subbing in & out. I would like to see more plays going to Mc Guire. That guy looks good running the ball also.

Rain had much to do with this qb situation. One is a passing qb, the other is a running qb for the most part. Can't throw a wet ball very affective. What I don't have a problem with is playing one or the other based inthe situation/defense etc
