Well, considering the lambs looked more like the snotty-whiners (and vice-versa!) at the beginning of the season, it's funny to see how BOTH those teams got "turned around"...

It just goes to show how easy coaching can be when you have a positive attitude & are organized.
I would be losing my ___ off thanks to the Eagles hahaha

Never saw this thread... I wouldn't have picked the rams.

On another site I posted on Feb 8th:

Pats, Baltimore, Texans, Chargers, Colts and Raiders as wild cards in the AFC

Philly, Packers, Saints, 9ers, Cowboys and Falcons as wild cards in the NFC

Granted its another site... but thats what I thought.

It's not me. It's not you. It's the overrated NFC Least. Every year, we the people are sold a bill of goods about how powerful this division is & how important every game they play is. When it's said & done they're the one & done league period.

I thought if Harbaugh had an offseason to get the stupid coaching & negativity out of his team he could do this. Not without an offseason. The rams were the least of all evils was the way I saw it. Kind of like the NFC Least.

You cannot come back after the fact and say I would have if! IF you felt that way you could have posed it such in September. You know, ' I would pick the niners but I justthink witout a compete preseason they might still be one year away, but maybe not' I am not calling you a liar, I am saying you cannot come back in December. I did not think the 49's were going to be the number 2 seed. No way this is a passing league, and I give them credit. Too bad the commisioner took away the Steelers big hitter, and they were playing with a crippled quarterback.

I am not making an excuse, I just think the Saints would have benifited and had a better chance had Pittsburg been healthy, compete team. No! I not agree with the current rules. McCoy was a running back who at the last possible second decided he was a defenseless quarterback.

The Saints have nobody to blame except themselves. Long had a field day on Brees just like he did last year. Payton needs to factor in that guy. Now they need to prove they can chart an improbable they did in 2009 when no team ever won a Super Bowl after losing their last three regular season games. Now they need to win probably two in outdoor stadiums.

I don't know if you know this, & I can't believe it myself, but I have been accused of being long winded on my posts. & you want me to go into more detail? It's a tough crowd around here. I can't take any credit for seeing the niners turn around, which any self-respecting football guru should have seen from day one & that's what irritates me. The very guy who helped instigate this thread to the next level, while being totally off base about the Eagles which was just as obvious, still has the niners to hang his gridiron prophetic pride on. Believe me. He will never let me forget it either.

This site is wonderful. Yes there are insane posts and quality posts by the exact same person. No doubt your name implies you will abandon the Cajuns when they fail, and all teams fail. Will you be a bandwagon fan and let the rest do the hard part or will you work to help them through bad times. Your names suggest the latter, and I think that is why you get a lot of greif.

Opinions are the life's blood of a great web site & there is no shortage of those on this site. If you call stepping off the bus when total abysmal lack of leadership by an institution at the highest level combined with blanket accusations against everything & everyone else to excuse one's own lack of effort & achievement, a character flaw, then color me bad. I tend to think of it as a desire for personal emotional survival, which personally, I consider to be intelligent and a mark of strong character.
