Interesting article FUN. Schools need to find a way to generate some funds. Having more students on campus would seem to be a way to do that. If the University could make a small profit on housing that is.

UL Monroe: complimentary ticket policy."
Now ULM is giving tickets away? That is what they have to do to get people to Red Hawk games?
UL has a number of ways to generate more funding, with a little luck we could be at $20M in athletics in 2-3 years. But the recession and government keep working against us.
OTOH, the Lafayette unemployment rate right now is what it was in the rest of the US before the recession. We'll be OK.

UL System: revision to Board Rules, Chapter IV. Finance and Business, Section V. Student Fees, K. Self-Assessed Fees.

OK, so what exactly changed WRT the Chapter IV piece?
Also, regarding funding, do the "Louisiana" references refer to the UL System as a whole? How does this compare with the LSU System? Finally, I assume each school within the system has different tuition rates. Is that data available as well?
Thanks.
Mildred St housing ??????? Can't place it --where is this and what is it????
I live on Mildred. It's a couple old houses behind the Continuing Education building.
Got the map and can't find it ---Where is the contiuning education building???? That might help---Thanks
I think this "average" is influenced by the the fact that LSU *FSF won't allow the UL System a top-25 system in the country (in overall size) to have medical or laws schools in the system.
